The Cannon develops innovation infrastructure to support entrepreneurialism around the world. We leverage our growing community of startups, intrapreneurs, advisors, and investors to democratize access to the resources innovators need to succeed. With nine physical locations and a worldwide group of innovation-focused members, The Cannon is building the world's most valuable entrepreneurial network.
Hampco has been solving technical challenges since 1988, and has been engaged in thousands of projects. These range from basic structural and piping modifications to complete module and equipment systems on a turnkey basis including installation and commissioning all over the world.
Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. As the nation's only go-to resource and voice for small businesses, the SBA provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise so businesses can confidently start, grow, expand, or recover.
SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with 10,000 volunteers serving all 50 U.S. states and territories. Since its founding in 1964 as a resource partner for the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE has helped more than 17 million entrepreneurs start, grow or successfully exit a business through mentoring, resources and education. In 2023 alone, SCORE volunteers helped create 31,167 new small businesses and add 152,115 total jobs to the American economy.

America’s SBDC is a non-profit Association that represents America’s nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States and its territories.
The Waller County Economic Development Partnership was incorporated in February of 2002, the result of several years of hard work by various community leaders. We are a Texas non-profit corporation. The primary purpose of the WCEDP is to facilitate positive growth within the Waller County area. The WCEDP contracts with Waller County to provide economic development services to the community. We foster cooperation within the county by including all communities with an economic development program or that are interested in providing economic development services to their community.
Workforce Solutions is dedicated to keeping the Gulf Coast region a great place to do business, work, and live. Our employer-driven, people-focused approach elevates the economic and human potential of the region to attract and retain the best employers, afford everyone the dignity of a job, and remain indispensable to the global economy. As the public workforce system for 13 counties in the Houston-Galveston region, we work in tandem with the Texas Workforce Commission and the statewide Workforce Solutions network to maintain the state’s largest job-match database – www.WorkInTexas.com.
