Provides instructions for OSHA records keeping requirements for injuries and illnesses. Provides detailed review of criteria for recordability, data entry instruction, exclusions, and calculations for the OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 data sheets.
WALKING & WORKING SURFACES
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.D
This course describes the various types of walking and working surfaces, and the OSHA safety requirements associated with them. Provides personnel with the detailed requirements for dimensions, strengths, location, and limitations on safety barriers and restraints used for walking and working surfaces.
EMERGENCY EXITS, EGRESS, AND PLANS
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.E
Familiarizes personnel with OSHA and NFPA requirements for Emergency Action Plans, Fire Protection Plans, emergency exit requirements, hallway, and occupancy limits.
FALL PROTECTION
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.F 1926.M
Provides familiarization with fall protection hazards, needs, and requirements for those who may be using fall protection during the performance of their duties. Basic requirements of OSHA fall protection standards will be discussed along with an overview of protective devices and procedures.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION

LOCKOUT/TAGOUT

This course provides personnel with the standards, procedures, and requirements necessary for the control of hazardous energy through lockout and tagout of energy-isolating devices. OSHA Standard 1910.147 is the basis for this course.
CONFINED SPACE

FIRE PROTECTION

This course covers the recognition of potential fire hazards and procedures to minimize losses due to fire. Topics include the chemistry and mechanics of fire, fire prevention, fire detection, and fire suppression.

POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS & FORK LIFTS
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.N
This course provides education o the operating characteristics, limitations, and unique features of the various types of powered industrial trucks used for material handling. The course will emphasize how the workplace environment and terrain affect the vehicle’s operation. This course can also be tailored to provide detailed instruction on fork lift operations, safety, and certification. (May include actual on-site testing.)
MACHINE GUARDING
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.O
Provides familiarization with the various types of common machinery and the related safety standards for each. Various kinds of machinery protection devices are reviewed. Lockout/Tagout requirements are also discussed.
HAND AND POWER TOOLS

Provides familiarization with the OSHA safety requirements, guards, and inspection requirements for various hand and power tools.
WELDING, BRAZING, AND CUTTING

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Provides familiarization with the OSHA requirements for battery safety including storage, handling, charging, and operational considerations.
HAZCOMM
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.Z 1926.D
Designed to train personnel to recognize and report chemical hazardous situations. These personnel work in hazardous chemical areas but are not involved in hazard isolation, stabilization, or removal
HAZOPS
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.Z 1926.D
Designed for personnel that are occasionally involved in hazard recognition, isolation, stabilization, or removal. However, these personnel are not involved to the extent that they can potentially receive hazardous exposure in excess of permissible exposure levels.
HAZWOPER

Designed for personnel that are routinely involved in hazard recognition, isolation, stabilization, and removal of hazardous chemicals to the extent that there is some potential for hazardous exposure in excess of permissible limits
INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE & BLOOD-BORNE PATHOGENS
29 CFR Regulation: 1910.Z
Provides personnel with familiarization in the health hazards in the workplace and OSHA requirements for workplace monitoring and protection from these hazards. Describes how to develop a Blood-Borne Pathogen Exposure Plan, methods of control, cleanup, and disposal of these hazards.
SCAFFOLD SAFETY
29 CFR Regulation: 1926.L
This course is based on OSHA 29 CFR 1910.28 and 29 CFR 1926.451, requirements for scaffold safety in general and construction industries. Discussions will focus on standards, training, definition and duties of the competent person, design and safety factors, terminology, inspection requirements, types of scaffolds, uses of scaffolds, ladder access, fall protection, signs, and barricades.
TRENCHING AND SHORING
29 CFR Regulation: 1926.P
This course provides details regarding the safety requirements for trenching, excavation, and ditching techniques. The various soil effects on the construction of trenches are discussed. Ventilation requirements and rescue considerations will be reviewed.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF CRANES AND HOISTS
29 CFR Regulation: 1926.N 1910.179-184
This course provides crane safety and awareness training for operators, riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and safety personnel. Various types of overhead and gantry cranes and hoists used in general industry and construction operations are discussed. A review of the pertinent OSHA and ANSI standards is included. Students are provided with information concerning crane safety, crane operations, crane inspections and maintenance, pre-lift plans, sling types and inspection requirements, rigging components, and rigging safety. The course is intended to provide the basic knowledge (both in breadth and depth) for those operating in and around cranes.
GROUND OPERATIONS OF HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

This course provides details on the control of personnel and equipment in and around the operation of heavy equipment such as bulldozers and cranes.

10 HOUR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY
Designed for personnel directly involved in construction safety and health. OSHA construction standards are discussed in detail. Made up of individual construction safety course modules to meet customer requirements.
30 HOUR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY
Designed for personnel directly involved in construction safety and health. OSHA construction standards are discussed in detail. Made up of individual construction safety course modules to meet customer requirements.
10 HOUR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY
Designed for personnel directly involved in construction safety and health. OSHA construction standards are discussed in detail. Made up of individual construction safety course modules to meet customer requirements.
FIRST AID, AEO OPERATIONS, AND CPR
Designed to educate personnel on the techniques of basic first aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and to acquaint personnel with the hazards associated with contact with human tissue, blood, body fluids, and materials (needles, biohazard containers, etc.). The operational procedures required for use of an Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) will be covered. Personnel that are required to take the HAZWOPER or CONFINED SPACE course should take this course.
HAZARDS: AWARENESS AND RECOGNITION
This is not HAZCOMM training. This course provides personnel with insight into the difficulties that are encountered in recognizing and reporting hazards. It includes a discussion of human awareness processes that help develop or obstruct hazard recognition and avoidance.
SAFETY AND HEALTH PROGRAMS
Discusses the basic requirements for developing a safety and health program. Includes discussion of OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), basic program requirements, and employee training.
WORK PERMITS
Describes the processes required to develop, approve, and use various types of work permits such as Permit-Required Confined Spaces, Hot- Work, Electrical, and Fire Protection Systems.
